In a world so connected, navigating the many dangers and our most vulnerable can fall victim can be difficult. We are looking for a team to join an exciting new tour around New Brunswick schools! The Online Dangers Roadshow is setting out to talk to students (Grades 7-8) about cybersafety. Presenters will lead students through activities and stations to teach them helpful tips on how to identify unsafe online practices (Cyberbullying, Online Sexual Exploitation, Grooming) and steps to take to avoid or react to them. This tour will be running throughout the school year-
- Sept 28-Nov 14, 2026 (Phase 1)
- Feb 2 – March 28, 2027 (Phase 2)
To excel in this role, you will have strong communication, people skills, outgoing personality, and have formal experience working with or teaching children and youth in addition to having open availability for training and shifts (outlined below). As well as comfortable speaking on sensitve topics such as Cyberbullying, Online Sexual Exploitation, and Grooming. Previous experience working with children and minors is required, as well as experience with customer service and public relations.
Tour Presenter Responsibilities:
- Speak publicly and address large groups. Provide leadership and facilitate a wide variety of activities while delivering key messaging.
- Approaching sensitive subject matter with professionalism and care
- Effectively interpret and communicate software, tools, and stations to attending youth.
- Ensure dynamic and engaging interactions with youth
- Represent the program with dignity and professionalism at all times and maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional manner towards team members and public
- Set-up and takedown of the activation while maintaining integrity of assets
- Set up technology such as laptops/tablets to internet & internet
- Unpack and repack all assets within crates using blankets, ratchet straps and other equipment to ensure safety/minimal movement during transit
- Record high-lights & low-lights of interactions & comments throughout each activation.
- Ensure that company standards and protocols are followed and take corrective action as needed for continuous improvement
- Arrive to location on time and ready to actively participate
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Full team must be fully bilingual and comfortable presenting in French and English
- Effectively interpret and communicate software, tools, and stations to attending youth.
- Passion for and previous experience working with youth (teaching, coaching, facilitating workshops for youth)
- Ability to commit to activation/event dates including travel
- Strong interpersonal skills and a breadth of experience interacting with a wide variety of people. Being able to connect and relate with the team and to youth is crucial
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
- Strong team player – able to work over long periods of time with a diverse group.
- A willingness to adapt to program changes during the tour.
- Ability to lift 30-40 pounds and to set up and tear down all tour elements at the venue
- Must have a full and valid drivers license with clean drivers abstract
- Must have clean criminal record and consent to a Background check.
- Professional and mature when speaking about sensitive topics to youth

Phase 2 Schedule
Training: Feb 2-5, 2027
Activation Start date: Feb 8, 2027
Activation End date: Mar 28, 2027
*Time off for Spring break Mar 1-5*
Payrate:
Tour Presenter: $24/hr
Tour Manager: $30/hr
Additional compensation: Perdiem and hotel accommodation provided. Shared vehicle for team to travel with gas card. Monetary bonus provided upon completion of
