Massage Therapist
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
- Conduct client consultations to assess their health history, preferences, and specific concerns.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records regarding treatments provided.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up sessions if necessary.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of massage equipment and treatment areas in compliance with health regulations.
- Schedule appointments efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and practice productivity.
- Uphold professional standards of conduct, confidentiality, and customer service at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with relevant certifications or licenses.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy and anatomy.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a relaxing environment for clients.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively understand client needs and explain treatment procedures.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adhere to health and safety standards.
- Certification or licensing as required by state or local regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends if needed.
