Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plumbing Apprentice to join our team. The candidate must have three or more years of on-site experience and one-two years of completed schooling (beginner, intermediate, or advanced, training). This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in plumbing systems, working in residential and commercial residences. As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced plumbers to develop essential skills in the trade, gaining valuable knowledge of plumbing installation, repair, and troubleshooting. Duties
- Assist senior plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing projects
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Perform basic measurements and calculations to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Support the assembly of piping systems, fixtures, and related components according to specifications
- Help with routine maintenance tasks to ensure plumbing systems operate efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge or construction experience is required
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics
- Must have own tool kit containing all basic hand tools and cordless equipment (anything extra will be provided)
- Strong interest in plumbing systems, maintenance, and building trades
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills
- Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and eager to develop a professional career in plumbing
