Window Blinds InstallerOverview
The Shutters Inc. is looking for a motivated and reliable Window Blinds Installer to join our growing team. We install custom blinds, shades, shutters, and motorized window coverings for residential and commercial clients.
Previous experience installing window coverings is preferred but not required. We welcome applicants with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Install custom blinds, shades, shutters, and other window coverings at residential and commercial job sites.
- Measure, fit, and install products accurately and efficiently.
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and installation equipment.
- Assist with loading, transporting, and unloading products and materials.
- Ensure installations meet company quality standards and customer expectations.
- Troubleshoot minor installation issues on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site.
- Communicate professionally with customers and represent the company positively.
- Complete installation paperwork and follow company procedures.
- Follow all workplace safety policies and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience installing blinds, shades, shutters, or similar products is preferred but not required.
- Experience in construction, carpentry, renovations, or a related trade is considered an asset.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
