The Opportunity
This is a hands-on position for an experienced autobody professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and can work independently while maintaining a high standard of safety, efficiency, and attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be comfortable performing autobody repairs, preparing vehicles and components for refinishing, and completing painting and finishing work.
Key ResponsibilitiesAutobody Repair
- Perform vehicle body repairs, including minor and major cosmetic damage.
- Follow repair estimates, repair plans, and repair documentation.
- Participate in and contribute to the repair planning process.
- Repair and replace body panels, bumpers, trim, and related components.
- Perform dent repairs and panel preparation.
- Perform structural and non-structural repairs within your qualifications and skill level.
- Use structural pulling equipment when required.
- Perform repairs on both aluminum and steel components.
- Remove and replace heavily damaged vehicle sections, including roof panels, rear body panels, and other structural components.
- Identify additional damage or repair requirements and communicate them to management.
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures and safety standards.
- Complete disassembly and reassembly as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Painting & Refinishing
- Prepare vehicles and components for refinishing.
- Complete sanding, masking, priming, and surface preparation.
- Mix and match paint colours accurately.
- Apply primer, basecoat, and clearcoat.
- Complete blending and refinishing work.
- Perform sanding, buffing, polishing, and final finishing.
- Inspect finished work to ensure a high-quality professional result.
- Properly clean and maintain spray guns, paint equipment, and related tools.
- Follow all paint product handling, PPE, ventilation, and workplace safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in autobody repair OR Licensed Journeyperson Technician.
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with both autobody repair and automotive refinishing is an asset.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
