Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures with enthusiasm and precision
- Handle animals safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their visit
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean clinical environment in accordance with safety standards
- Collect samples such as blood, urine, or feces for laboratory testing, demonstrating laboratory experience when applicable
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with pet owners about procedures, medications, and post-visit care instructions
- Maintain accurate medical records and update patient files diligently to ensure seamless care continuity
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly
Qualifications
- Prior laboratory experience is highly desirable to support sample collection and processing tasks
- Strong animal handling skills combined with a caring attitude toward animals of all sizes and temperaments
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners, team members, and veterinarians
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the veterinary field
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with animal care

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
