Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dog Grooming Assistant to join our pet care team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about animals and interested in developing skills in pet grooming and care. The ideal candidate will assist groomers with various tasks, ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Responsibilities
- Assist groomers with bathing, drying, and grooming dogs according to established standards
- Handle pet restraint safely and humanely during grooming procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations and tools to ensure a sanitary environment
- Help with loading and unloading dogs from kennels or cages as needed
- Support with heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or large animals when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with pet owners and addressing their questions or concerns
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all animals during grooming sessions
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent injury or accidents
