TEMPORARY FULL-TIME (Hiring for 2026-2027 School Season)
Intertrain Incorporated is the premier provider of all in-school, School Bus Safety programs for Elementary Schools across Ontario. Since 2003 we have been providing our programs to school boards across Ontario. We work hard to develop top-notch programs and provide schools with a hassle-free, fun experience.
We are seeking a very motivated, outgoing, punctual, accountable and responsible person to represent our company in a professional manner within Northern Ontario to provide School Bus Safety presentations for children JK to grade 8 in the Elementary Schools, across Sudbury, Algoma-Huron-Superior, Nipissing-Parry Sound, Sault Ste Marie, Kenora, Thunder Bay and surrounding areas (North Ontario Region).
Please note that this position does require travel, and Presenters will be expected to stay away from home for multiple weeks at a time, in a company provided hotel. Presenters will be provided with an additional $40/day Meal Allowance for days that they are away from home and staying in hotels. This allowance is paid daily, from the day you leave home, until the day you return (including weekends). Please see the length that each area will be serviced:
- Northwest Ontario (NWO): 3-4 Weeks
- Thunder Bay: 2-3 Weeks
- Nipissing-Parry-Sound: 2 Weeks
- Sudbury & AHS: 5 Weeks
Please also note, that for the areas of NWO and Thunder Bay, we provide additional benefits as a bonus for the far travel. This bonus includes:
- The regular $40/ day meal allowance for trips
- An additional $50/ day bonus for all working days (not including weekends), from the day they leave home until they return
- And an option between three choices for your vehicle/mileage reimbursement: Option 1 - You can have a rental vehicle (Fully paid by us, including gas). It’ll be 1 rental vehicle to be shared with both Presenters. OR , Option 2- You can each drive your own cars (mileage reimbursed at $0.25/km) OR, Option 3- Youcan carpool & drive 1 of your cars (mileage reimbursed at $0.30/km) to the car owner
The successful candidates MUST have the following qualifications:
- Ability to present a professional presentation
- Ability to travel for the position for multiple weeks at a time
- Ability to read and speak one or both languages (French & English) fluently
- Experience working with children in large groups (assembly style) of up to 250 students per presentation
- Ability to act, role play, organize, and sing children’s songs
- Highly motivated & positive attitude
- Excellent customer service, communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to operate audio visual equipment
- Good physical health, ability to lift and transport 60+ pounds of heavy presentation equipment
- Provide a Negative VSR (Police Vulnerable Sector Report)
- Valid Drivers License (minimum G2)
- Own reliable vehicle - large enough to carry our equipment daily
- Minimum high school diploma or age 18
Typical day is between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm. Monday to Friday. Total daily hours of work vary but Presenters must be available to work between 7:00am -3:30pm to be paid the daily rate.

TEMPORAIRE TEMPS PLEIN (Embauche pour la saison scolaire 2026-2027)
Intertrain Inc. est le principal fournisseur de tous les programmes de sécurité des autobus scolaires pour les écoles élémentaires de l’Ontario. Depuis 2003, nous offrons nos programmes aux conseils scolaires aux conseils scolaires de l’Ontario. Nous travaillons dur pour développer des programmes de premier ordre et offrir aux écoles une expérience amusante et sans tracas.
Nous recherchons une personne très motivée, extravertie, ponctuelle et responsable pour représenter notre entreprise de manière professionnelle et se déplacer dans le nord de l'Ontario afin de présenter des exposés sur la sécurité dans les autobus scolaires aux élèves de la maternelle à la 8e année dans les écoles primaires de Sudbury, Algoma-Huron-Superior, Nipissing-Parry Sound, Sault Ste. Marie, Kenora, Thunder Bay et les environs (région du Nord de l'Ontario).
Les candidats retenus doivent impérativement posséder les qualifications suivantes :
- Capacité à réaliser des présentations professionnelles
- Capacité à se déplacer pendant plusieurs semaines consécutives
- Maîtrise de l'anglais et du français (lu et parlé).
- Expérience de travail avec des enfants en grands groupes (style assemblée) jusqu'à 250 élèves par présentation
- Capacité d’agir, de jouer des rôles, d’organiser et de chanter des chansons pour enfants
- Être très motive et positive
- Excellentes compétences en communication
- Pouvoir travailler de façon autonome ou en équipe
- Capacité d’utiliser de l’équipement audiovisuel
- Bonne santé physique, capacité à soulever et à transporter plus de 60 livres d'équipement de présentation lourd
- Fournir un rapport de police négatif sur les personnes vulnérables (VSR)
- Avoir un permis de conduire valide (minimum G2)
- Véhicule propre et fiable - suffisamment grand pour transporter notre équipement quotidiennement
- Diplôme d’études secondaires minimum
Les journées de travail habituelles se déroulent de 7 h à 15 h 30, du lundi au vendredi. Le nombre total d'heures de travail quotidiennes varie, mais les éducateurs doivent être disponibles entre 7 h et 15 h 30 pour être rémunérés au tarif journalier.
