Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will support food preparation and service operations by ensuring dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Previous experience in food handling or restaurant settings is a plus but not required. Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly to ensure cleanliness and availability for food preparation and service
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling as directed by the kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including counters, floors, and storage spaces
- Support food safety protocols by following proper sanitation procedures
- Help with basic food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed
- Ensure all dishware and kitchen tools are stored properly after cleaning
- Assist in setting up dining areas or serving stations as required during meal times
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude
- Basic understanding of cooking, meal preparation, and food handling practices is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving items as needed
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Pay: $17.85-$22.00 per hour
