About the Role
The Associate Director, Recognition and Stewardship (Stephens Family School of Medicine) creates, designs and implements comprehensive events and communications materials to foster and nurture lasting relationships between Simon Fraser University and its donors. The role implements plans that will efficiently and effectively acknowledge, recognize and report on the impact made by donors at all levels of giving from annual to principal gift donors (typically $1M+); create and identify opportunities for donors to actively engage with the university; and communicate SFU’s appreciation for the value of philanthropic support.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, strategic donor relations leader who excels at creating meaningful stewardship experiences for major and principal donors, can build strong partnerships across a complex university environment, and possesses the creativity, professionalism, and project management skills needed to support donors to the Stephens Family School of Medicine.
