Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Duties
- Assist in supervising store operations and staff to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Support the recruitment and training of new employees, ensuring they are well-equipped to provide excellent service.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing store environment by overseeing merchandising and inventory management.
- Utilize strong math skills for cash handling, inventory counts, and sales reporting.
- Conduct interviews for potential hires and assist in the onboarding process.
- Foster a positive team atmosphere through effective communication and motivation.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for sales growth and improvement.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or management is preferred.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in math for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
