Responsibilities
- Drive on designated routes for deliveries, pickups, shuttle services, or client transportation with precision and timeliness.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, cargo details, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, or team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues encountered during trips.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety for yourself and others on the road.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving such as delivery driver roles, shuttle driving, bus driving (including school buses), or heavy equipment operation.
- Valid Class 4 driver’s license required
- Knowledge of mechanical systems related to commercial vehicles; ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance checks.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Physical ability to handle moving heavy loads and perform routine vehicle inspections; flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings or weekends.
