Temporary Contract | September 11 to October 4
Shift Hours: 7:00pm – 6:00am (10 hour shift)
Days of Work: Saturday & Sunday (weekend only)
Rate of Pay: $15.00-24.00 depending on experience
Our client is seeking reliable and hardworking Custodial Services Workers to support a temporary project. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and organized environments and are comfortable performing physically demanding work.
As a Custodial Services Worker, you will play an important role in ensuring trailers and workspaces are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. Candidates must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently while delivering quality results.
Successful candidates will be required to attend training a few days prior to the project start date
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize lunch trailers, wash cars, and office trailers
- Sweep and wash floors to maintain cleanliness standards
- Transport water between trailers for cleaning purposes
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Handle cleaning products and chemicals safely and responsibly
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude when interacting with clients, guests, and coworkers
- Ensure work areas are safe, clean, and organized at all times
Requirements
Ability to perform physically demanding work- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull more than 50 lbs.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and precautions, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and customer-service-focused approach
Preferred
- Previous custodial, janitorial, industrial cleaning, or housekeeping experience
- Experience performing similar cleaning duties in trailers, camps, worksites, or industrial environments
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials exceeding 50 lbs.
- Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movement
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Background Screening Requirement
- All candidates must successfully complete a Criminal Record Check in accordance with local and national legislation.
