Action Group is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Team Leader to provide a combination of front line / supervisory supports to adults in the Residential Program. The Team Leader position provides leadership to up to 16 staff in the residential program supporting three individuals with developmental disabilities.
Duties include creating and maintaining support plans, training and supporting staff, administrative and organizational tasks, medication administration, behavior management of individuals, some personal care and community access supports.
Shift is 40 hours per week, flex to meet program needs.
Qualifications:
- Confidence in providing supports to adults with Developmental Disabilities
- Strong conflict resolution skills and experience with community inclusion.
- Two years of related post-secondary education.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
- Ability to build a team utilizing various team building strategies
- Strong computer and administrative skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, Webmail)
- Driver’s License and Reliable Vehicle
Opportunities:
- Rate of Pay Team Leader: $26.63- 40 hours per week, typically day hours, requires flex scheduled to meet needs of program including some evenings, weekends.
