Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Dental Hygienist to join our small, tight-knit team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high quality dental care and educating patients on oral hygiene practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
- Administer local anesthetics as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Patient Education:
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
- Provide recommendations on oral health products and practices.
- Discuss treatment plans and follow-up care with patients.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- Must have local anesthesia module.
Experience:
- Three years experience minimum in a dental office.
- Experience with EMS guided biofilm therapy a plus.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficient in dental software and technology.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Working Hours:
- Full-time position
- No evening or weekend shifts
