About the Role
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining the bar area, supporting the service team, and creating a memorable guest experience. This position requires strong attention to detail, speed, cleanliness, and a genuine ability to connect with guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve wine, cocktails, mocktails, beer, and non alcoholic beverages according to Manzil standards
- Learn and confidently speak about Kismet wines, wine pairings, cocktails, and menu offerings
- Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to guests seated at the bar
- Support servers with drink orders in a timely and organized manner
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar throughout service
- Follow opening, closing, and side duty procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock to management
- Follow responsible liquor service practices at all times
- Ensure glassware, garnishes, tools, and bar supplies are properly prepared for service
- Assist with restaurant service when needed, including greeting guests, running drinks, clearing tables, and supporting the team
- Create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the Manzil and Kismet guest experience
Requirements
- Previous bartending or serving experience preferred
- Serving It Right certification required
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during busy seasonal periods
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness, presentation, and detail
- Interest in wine, cocktails, and hospitality
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the team wherever needed
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
