Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining cars and light trucks, while providing quality workmanship and excellent customer service. 4 day work week is an option. No weekends required.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on cars and light trucks.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake service, fluid services, and tune-ups.
- Inspect and repair braking, steering, suspension, exhaust, and cooling systems.
- Perform engine and transmission repairs as required.
- Diagnose vehicle issues using scan tools and other diagnostic equipment.
- Perform tire mounting, balancing, and related services.
- Complete safety and preventative maintenance inspections.
- Identify additional repairs and communicate findings clearly.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Keep the shop, tools, and work area clean and organized.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an automotive mechanic or service technician.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
- Experience working on cars and light trucks.
- Ability to diagnose problems accurately and efficiently.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostic scanners and shop equipment.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
Red Seal / Journeyperson certification is an asset but can be adjusted depending on your requirements.

Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44.0 per week
