Reporting to the Director, incumbent supports the day-to-day office operations and the department in reaching its fundraising, Alumni, and resource development goals. Incumbent provides administrative support with a particular focus on gift administration and lower-level donor stewardship, administrative support to the Director, and budget transaction, monitoring and reporting.


We are seeking a well-organized individual with a minimum 2-year diploma in business administration, accounting, office administration, or equivalent, in a field relevant to the duties of the position. A minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative support role, with two of those years being experience with fundraising database software or equivalent, and knowledge of gift processing and Canada Revenue Agency legislation. A high degree of familiarity with the day-to-day operation of an alumni/development office. An understanding of accounting principles required, as well as proficiency in a variety of computer applications such as MS Office Suite, Raisers Edge, PeopleSoft, and Outlook. All applicants must be effective communicators with strong planning and coordinating skills.

Salary and Terms

Payband E / 35 hours per week
Start: $24.63 per hour
Range: $24.63 - $28.55

Start Date: July 8, 2019 for a period of 12 months
