Job Summary

The Data Analyst develops comprehensive business analysis and analytics. The role provides research, analysis and administrative support to the HR Department, business partners and senior leaders. The Data Analyst is an internal subject matter expert for HR/business data and HR systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

Research, establish, maintain, and analyze metrics and analytics for the purposes of developing evidence-based decision making
Write and prepare reports, and presentations regarding research finds
Support monthly, quarterly and adhoc reports and data analysis
Use business intelligence software, research methodology, queries, etc. to gather and interpret data
Provides support for data integrity issues, acting as a subject matter expert regarding data entry, storage and reporting requirements
Supports core HR systems as required to enable and ensures employee data corrections across platform, perform mass updates, and support ongoing data integrity
Qualifications

Strong analytical thinker who is creative and strategic
A related bachelor’s degree (i.e. Information Technology, Commerce, Business Administration, Human Resources, Statistics).
Experience in data management, business intelligence, data mining, designing reports and dashboards for effective decision making, supporting change initiatives and strategic decisions for a large organization
Experience answering strategic and complex business problems through data analysis, scenario modeling and data visualization
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with experience in working with large amounts of data and solving data issues
Extensive experience using all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
SQL or similar query experience
Strong business acumen and ability to link department strategic goals to metrics
Ability to handle confidential and/or sensitive information with a high degree of discretion and impartiality
Able to communicate technical matters in a clear and concise manner (both written and oral)
Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications

Security Clearance : Security Clearance may be requested for this position

Working Hours: Salaried Position: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
