We are actively seeking On-Call/Floater Concierge Security Guards with full-time availability to work at our high-rise condominium sites in Burlington area. The On-Call/Floater concierge security guards will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the property, residents, and visitors while providing excellent customer service. This role emphasizes maintaining a welcoming and secure environment, addressing any concerns professionally, and acting as a key point of contact for all residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for residents, guests, contractors, and deliveries—professional, courteous, proactive
- Perform access control: issue visitor/contractor passes, verify ID, prevent tailgating/piggybacking
- Conduct interior/exterior patrols; identify hazards and respond per post orders
- Monitor CCTV, fire panel/alarms, and access control systems
- Enforce site rules, the Trespass to Property Act (Ontario), and relevant by-laws
- Manage parcels, parking permits, and contractor access
- Complete accurate daily logs and incident reports while maintaining privacy & confidentiality
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (required)
- CPR/First Aid Level C (required or willing to obtain promptly)
- High personal integrity and polished communication/customer service
- Strong situational awareness, problem-solving, and conflict resolution
- Able to multi-task, prioritize, and stand/walk for extended periods
- Reliable commute to downtown Toronto
Education / Experience:
- 3+ years concierge/condo security experience
- Hospitality/concierge training, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
- Police Foundations / Law & Security studies (completed or in progress)
- Ontario Driver’s Licence (if a site requires vehicle access)
Special Certifications needed:
- Valid Ontario Security Licence
- First Aid & CPR Certificate Level C
- Comfortable accepting same-day or next-day assignments
- Reliable punctuality and readiness for evenings/overnights/weekends as needed
- Training provided and uniform per company policy
- Clear post orders, supportive leadership, and growth opportunities (lead, mobile, operations)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.10 per hour
