We are seeking an organized, energetic, and customer-focused Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of Cait's Sweet Bites & Beanery. The Café Manager is responsible for leading the team, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining operational efficiency, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and staff. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality management(3-5 years)
- Has had previous management experience (1-3 years)-- in retail or food industry
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling preferred
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Marketing & Events
- Support café promotions, events, and special initiatives
- Help create an engaging atmosphere that encourages repeat business
- Collaborate with ownership on new ideas and business growth opportunities
Staff Leadership & Supervision
- Hire, train, and supervise café staff.
- Create weekly staff schedules.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and support.
