King's Energy Services is currently seeking an individual to fill the challenging role of a Shipper/Receiver in our Provost branch.

Position Summary:

The Shipper / Receiver will be responsible for all inbound and outbound shipments within our facility. This individual is the first point of contact for our customers. This position requires strong customer service and computer skills to ensure accurate information is gathered and entered into job packages, prior to work/services being carried out on customer products, in a fast-paced environment. This is a dynamic position providing service to our entire organization.

Position Responsibilities:

  • This position reports directly to the District Manager
  • Ensure the accurate and timely shipping and receiving of products to all customers
  • Communicate and liaison with both internal and external customers, providing superior customer service
  • Customer service counter for pick up and drop off of customer property; accurately logging information into SalesPad for tracking
  • Plan, organize, and schedule daily and weekly inbound or outbound freight
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers
  • Receive, sort, stage and verify all materials ordered by purchasing for inventory, service repair work and/or manufacturing
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Accuracy in preparing shipping documentation; including cross border manifests
  • Address inquiries as necessary
  • Write service reports containing the products information and condition and deliver information to the proper department.

Skills Training and Competencies:

  • Computer skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • Must be able in good physical condition and be able to lift up to 23kg (50lbs)

Minimum Educationaland ExperienceRequirements:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Forklift certified an asset
  • Previous experience in shipping and receiving
  • Experience in service writing and product inventory are definite assets
  • Experience with international shipping and receiving is also an asset
