Position Summary
As a Bottle Sorter, you will play a key role in delivering excellent service to our customers while ensuring efficient and accurate sorting of recyclable materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately count and inspect returned containers
- Sort bottles, cans, and other recyclables by material type
- Transport materials and equipment manually or using powered equipment
- Operate machinery such as balers, forklifts, or automated counting systems (if certified)
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as required
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Previous experience in a bottle depot or warehouse setting is an asset
- Experience with balers, forklifts, or automated equipment is an asset
- Must be dependable and punctual
