Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Montana Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Previous experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling protocols. The Montana Bartender will play a key role in creating a lively atmosphere while maintaining high standards of hospitality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards.
- Use POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with precision, including giving correct change and processing payments.
- Ensure all food and beverage service complies with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any special requests or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Assist in serving food when necessary, supporting overall restaurant operations.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple guests promptly without compromising quality.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and calculating bills accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy shifts.
- Hospitality experience is preferred but not required; a friendly attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
- Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol legally.
