The Esterhazy Housing Authority has an opportunity for a term Building Services, Level 2 to join their team for a term of approximately three months, with the possibility of extension based on need.

The Position:
Reporting to the Housing Authority Manager, this is a front-line position that requires the ability to promote positive working relationships with management, staff, and tenants and respects people’s diversity and individual differences. The position is responsible to:
· Deliver building maintenance services and repairs
· Unit turnover repairs
· Groundskeeping, and maintaining housing authority equipment and inventory
Responsibilities and Requirements:
· Knowledge of the basic techniques employed in a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, painting, flooring, and electrical
· Experience servicing and repairing building mechanical equipment
· Ability to use hand and power tools and lift heavy loads
· Knowledge in the trades including carpentry, plumbing, heating, mechanical, painting, electrical, and groundskeeping work
Qualifications:
· Grade 12 education, basic computer skills, training in the trades along with hands on experience in a maintenance and repair OR an equivalent combination is required.
· Self-motivated with the ability to handle stress, while prioritizing workloads and respecting people’s diversity and individual differences
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills
· Ability to organize and participate in an on‑call program for emergencies for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage
· A valid driver’s license, reliable, roadworthy vehicle, and an approved Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) criminal record check are conditions of employment
