Newman Power Alliance is a Calgary-based energy company with an affiliated operation in Mexico. We are seeking an exceptionally organized,
communicative, and proactive bilingual professional to provide direct support to our director.
The opportunity:
The Bilingual Executive Assistant will drive follow-through on strategic priorities, and strengthen communication across internal teams and external partners
in Canada and Mexico. The successful candidate brings sound judgment, professional maturity, and the ability to turn complex priorities into reliable
execution.
Key responsabilities:
Manage and prioritize the calendar, meetings, travel, and competing commitments.
Coordinate executive meetings, including invitations, agendas, background materials, logistics, minutes, and follow-up actions.
Prepare executive presentations, reports, briefing notes, correspondence, and other business documents in English and Spanish.
Maintain a clear action-tracking system for strategic priorities, deadlines, decisions, risks, and accountable owners.
Anticipate scheduling conflicts, missing information, and follow-up needs; recommend practical solutions.
Coordinate domestic and international travel, itineraries, accommodation, transportation, expense reports, and related documentation.
Act as a professional point of contact with internal leaders, clients, vendors, advisors, and business partners.
Support communication and coordination between the Canadian and Mexican operations.
Handle sensitive business, financial, personnel, and strategic information with absolute discretion.
Maintain organized and secure executive files, records, and correspondence, and support special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience supporting a CEO, C-suite leader, or senior executive.
Professional fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken, with the ability to prepare executive-level communications in both languages.
Demonstrated experience managing complex calendars, senior meetings, travel, confidential information, and competing priorities.
Exceptional writing, proofreading, and document-preparation skills.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
Postsecondary education in Business Administration, Executive Administration, Communications, International Business, or a related discipline is
preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
Experience in energy, industrial services, professional services, or international business.
Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.

Compensation:
Hourly wage of CAD $20.00-$30.00, based on qualifications, relevant executive-support experience, bilingual proficiency, and the scope of
responsibilities.
Annualized base compensation of approximately CAD $37,440-$56,160, based on a 36-hour paid work week.
Annual vacation entitlement under Alberta Employment Standards
General holiday pay and time off for Alberta's statutory general holidays, subject to eligibility requirements.
Performance and compensation review after the first 90 days of employment.
Pay: $37,440.00-$56,160.00 per year
