We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager – Industrial Automation to lead our expansion throughout North America. This is an opportunity to help build the market for exciting new technologies while playing a key role in the long-term growth of our company.
As our business expands, you will have the opportunity to establish, mentor, and lead a network of regional sales representatives across North America.

Battery-less Wireless Switches and Sensors
Our newest product family combines wireless communication with battery-less technology, eliminating battery maintenance while providing reliable industrial performance. These products reduce installation costs, improve reliability, and significantly lower long-term ownership costs.
Wireless Industrial Safety Barrier System
Our wireless safety barrier system is designed to protect personnel working around operating heavy equipment by controlling access to hazardous work zones. It provides an effective, flexible safety solution for industries where traditional guarding is impractical or impossible.
Custom Industrial Automation Solutions
Our engineering team also develops custom automation systems, electronic controls, wireless technologies, sensing systems, and specialized equipment tailored to each customer’s operational requirements.

Your Responsibilities
· Develop and execute business development strategies throughout North America.
· Identify new markets, customers, and strategic business opportunities.
· Build long-term relationships with industrial end users, OEMs, engineering firms, distributors, system integrators, and mining companies.
· Understand customer operations and identify opportunities where our technologies create measurable value.
· Work closely with our engineering team to develop customized technical solutions.
· Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.
· Prepare proposals, quotations, and project estimates.
· Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
· Develop strategic distribution partnerships.
· Build, mentor, and eventually manage a network of regional sales representatives.

We’re Looking For
This is not an entry-level sales position.
We are looking for someone who has successfully sold engineered industrial solutions and understands consultative technical sales.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Proven success in business development or technical sales within industrial automation, industrial controls, machine safety, instrumentation, or related industrial technologies.
· Experience selling engineered or customized solutions rather than standard catalogue products.
· The ability to understand customer applications and work collaboratively with engineering teams to develop effective solutions.
· Strong business development, communication, and negotiation skills.
· Excellent organizational and relationship-building abilities.
· An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities.
· Willingness to travel throughout North America.
· A valid passport.
Preferred Industry Experience
Experience within one or more of the following industries would be considered a significant asset:
· Mining
· Heavy mobile equipment
· Industrial automation
· Machine safety
· Manufacturing
· Industrial wireless communications
· Sensors and instrumentation
· PLC and HMI systems
· Electrical controls
