Partland Auto Wrecking Inc. is an auto recycling and used auto parts business serving customers in the Lower Mainland. We buy, dismantle, organize, and sell used auto parts while providing helpful, honest, and reliable service to customers, repair shops, and automotive businesses.
We are looking to hire two experienced team members who understand vehicles, auto parts, and customer service. The ideal candidates have hands-on mechanical knowledge, experience with auto parts, and the ability to communicate professionally with customers.
Position Summary
The Auto Parts / Mechanic Customer Service Associate will help customers identify the correct parts, assist with parts sales, support basic vehicle dismantling or parts removal, organize inventory, and provide excellent customer service in person, by phone, and online.
This position is ideal for someone who has worked as a mechanic, auto parts advisor, dismantler, service advisor, or in an auto wrecking / auto recycling environment.
Responsibilities
- Help customers with auto parts inquiries
- Identify parts by vehicle make, model, and year
- Assist with parts sales and customer service
- Remove, inspect, label, and organize used auto parts
- Keep the work area clean and safe
- Work as part of a team in an auto recycling environment
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required in auto mechanics, auto parts, auto recycling, or a related field
- Good knowledge of vehicle parts and mechanical systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and honest
- Able to lift and handle auto parts safely
- Basic computer or phone skills are an asset
