Diamond Manufacturing is looking for an organized and hands-on Project Manager to oversee customer orders and support the day-to-day coordination of our manufacturing operations.
This role is responsible for managing orders from receipt through production and delivery, while ensuring materials, inventory, documentation, shipping, and administrative requirements are properly coordinated.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor customer orders from receipt through completion and delivery.
- Maintain order schedules, priorities, timelines, and status updates.
- Coordinate with the Floor Lead regarding production schedules, order priorities, material requirements, and completion dates.
- Purchase materials, components, and supplies required for production.
- Obtain supplier pricing, issue purchase orders, and monitor delivery dates.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
- Coordinate all shipping and receiving activities, including freight, pickups, deliveries, and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate order files, purchase records, inventory logs, shipping records, and operational documentation.
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, carriers, and internal team members regarding order requirements and status.
- Identify and escalate potential delays, material shortages, or other issues that may impact delivery.
- Coordinate Health & Safety documentation, training records, inspections, meetings, and required follow-up.
- Support administrative requirements within the manufacturing operation.
- Assist with continuous improvement of order flow, purchasing, inventory, shipping, documentation, and operational processes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in project management, order management, manufacturing coordination, or operations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and competing priorities.
- Experience with purchasing, inventory, shipping/receiving, and supplier coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with ERP/MRP or manufacturing systems is an asset.
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings, specifications, and purchase orders is an asset.
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
