Northern Lights Public Schools invites internal applications for the following position:
S2627-56 ASSISTANT CUSTODIAN – COLD LAKE HIGH SCHOOL
This part-time (0.5 fte) position commencing as soon as possible. The assignment involves assisting the Head Custodian and working after school hours for 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Cold Lake High School is located in the City of Cold Lake with approximately 580 students in grades 10-12. Cold Lake High School is an innovative, collaborative and passionate in the delivery of high quality education for every student
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform a variety of custodial and maintenance duties essential to maintain the cleanliness and care of the school facilities
- Inspect grounds, play equipment and structure
Preference will be given to applicants who have:
- Physical ability to do the required work
- Ability to communicate respectfully and professionally with all levels of school personnel and students
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Committed to building an atmosphere of trust, competence, confidentiality and positive service to the school and community
- Previous CUPE custodial experience
