A leading professional services company focused on IT security is seeking an experienced and dedicated Account Manager to join our team to support and grow our telecommunication service provider and government customers. This person should possess outstanding communication skills, strong sales acumen, excellent customer service skills and a passion for technology, and innovative new business solutions in a variety of settings and inceptions.

The individual will manage existing telco and government accounts while proactively building relationships and removing potential roadblocks to maximize our business value. The ideal candidate will be creative and propose tailored solutions to solve customer problems.
Responsibilities
- Developing required relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
- Educating customers about Edgeworx services and solutions and related value.
- Prospecting named customers to uncover new opportunities.
- Closing customer contracts, SoWs and generating new sales.
- Develop account plans and use sales automation tools to track progress against objectives.
- Analyzing end-user needs to help the Edgerworx team further develop new services and solutions.
- Managing team members and facilitating collaboration with customers, partners and the Edgeworx team.
Account Executive qualifications and skills
- Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to negotiate and problem-solve.
- Knowledge of current technology and security trends.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in CRM and business tools including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Deep understanding of customer operations and business sales processes.
