We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sprinkler Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing, schematics, and mechanical systems, along with the ability to read blueprints and work with various hand tools. The Sprinkler Fitter will ensure that all systems are installed according to safety standards and building codes, contributing to the safety and security of our clients’ properties.
Duties
- Install fire sprinkler systems following blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints accurately
- Use hand tools and power tools
- Conduct rigging operations to lift and position heavy piping or equipment safely
- Collaborate with team members on system layout and installation processes
- Troubleshoot system issues using mechanical knowledge and basic math skills
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards
- Document work performed accurately for record-keeping purposes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sprinkler fitting, construction, or related fields with a focus on sprinkler or pipe fitting preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively
- Mechanical knowledge maintenance, and system troubleshooting
- Experience with hand tools & Power tools
- basic math calculations necessary for installation
- Familiarity with schematics and technical diagrams used in construction or manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in construction or industrial settings
- Construction experience is highly desirable
Pay: $52.00-$60.00 per hour
