Job Title: Facilities Administrator
Location: Calgary, Alberta
Reports to: Team Lead, Facilities Technicians
Employment: Full Time Permanent
The following will provide you with basic guidelines as to the duties required of this position.
The Facilities Administrator is responsible for providing project and document control support for facilities & pipeline construction activities throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, and North Dakota. This role will also assist the construction superintendent and facilities engineers/technologists with various administrative tasks as required.
Main Responsibilities & Activities:
Execute project set up in multiple internal systems
Generate and revise AFE’s for facilities and pipeline projects
Manage Material Transfer forms and generate Purchase Orders and workorders to be tracked in SiteView for accurate project cost maintenance
Primary contact for document control, including editing, document numbering, revision tracking and distribution
Assist with Engineering drawing requests
Maintain contractor safety tickets through online system and provide reports when required
QA/QC tracking on all facilities and pipeline projects
Provide administrative support for Facilities Engineers/Technologists as required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Oil & Gas Administration or similar Administrative certification is an asset
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred
Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with SiteView, Generwell, Aucerna Execute, Accumap and ProMonitor is an asset
General knowledge of Engineering drawings (ie P&IDs, electrical, civil, etc) is an asset
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Word
Interest in streamlining and developing innovative approaches to daily processes
Self-starter, must be well organized, detailed, able to multi-task, and prioritize various initiatives
Team player who enjoys learning and contributing to team goals
Highly motivated collaborator who enjoys learning and contributing to team goals, not afraid to challenge processes and contribute new ideas.
