- Helping construct habitat enrichment features (climbing structures, nesting areas, dens)

- Supporting safe construction practices in wildlife-sensitive environments
- Contributing to organization and upkeep of active rehabilitation facilities
Skills and Experience Gained:
- Hands-on carpentry and construction experience

- Understanding of animal welfare considerations in built environments
- Problem-solving and teamwork in real construction settings
- Introduction to Ontario building practices and safety standards

What we are looking for:
- Interest in construction, carpentry, wildlife conservation, or related fields
- Willingness to work outdoors and perform physical tasks
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and positive attitude
- Applicants with some prior construction or carpentry experience will be prioritized
This is a unique opportunity to gain practical construction experience while contributing to meaningful conservation work that directly supports wildlife rehabilitation and release.
