The Mindful Workplace is recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing independent financial planning firm seeking an ambitious and career-driven Associate Financial Advisor to join its team.

The successful candidate will initially support senior advisors with client servicing, financial planning, and administrative responsibilities while progressively developing their own client relationships and book of business.

What You'll Do
As an Associate Financial Advisor, you will play an integral role in supporting advisors while delivering an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Support senior advisors with client service and relationship management.
- Prepare documentation and paperwork for client meetings and financial planning activities.
- Assist with insurance and investment applications, account administration, and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Coordinate with clients to obtain required information and documentation.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve client service and internal processes.
- Assist with meeting preparation and post-meeting follow-up.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients.
- Develop your own client base through networking, referrals, and business development.
- Work collaboratively with the advisory team to ensure clients receive outstanding service.
- Take initiative to support the team wherever needed while continuously expanding your knowledge and responsibilities.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is motivated to build a long-term career in financial planning.
Qualifications include:
- Active LLQP (Life License Qualification Program) licence.
- Existing client relationships or an established professional network.
- Previous experience working in financial services or financial advising.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Highly proactive with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Experience working within a bank, credit union, investment firm, or financial planning practice.
- CFP, QAFP, or other recognized financial planning designation.
- Experience supporting financial advisors.
- Multilingual abilities are considered a strong asset.

Compensation
- Base salary: $40,000 to $45,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
