Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tire and Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. This role involves performing tire replacements, routine oil changes, and basic vehicle maintenance to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior dealership or mechanic experience is preferred, but we welcome candidates eager to learn and grow within the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform tire rotations, replacements, and repairs with precision and care
- Conduct routine oil changes and fluid top-offs according to manufacturer specifications
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake inspections, filter replacements, and basic repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assist sales team with recommending additional services or products when appropriate
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures during vehicle servicing
Requirements
- Prior dealership or mechanic experience is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining safety standards
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the automotive service industry
Pay: $35,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
