The Cambridge Chamber of Commerce is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Member Services Administrator to join our team. This newly created position plays a key role in delivering exceptional service to our members, visitors, tenants, and business community while supporting the daily operations of the Chamber office.
Key Responsibilities
Member Services & Engagement
- Provide member services support, including membership database management and record maintenance.
- Develop a strong understanding of Chamber member benefits to effectively assist members.
- Assist with member engagement through Chamber programs, events, and affinity partnerships.
- Process new member applications
- Prepare membership retention, engagement, and related reports.
- Work closely with and report to the Vice President of Operations
Customer Service & Front Desk Support
- Serve as the primary greeter for members, visitors, tenants, and guests.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Retrieve messages from the general mailbox and direct them to the appropriate staff member.
- Maintain a positive, courteous, and helpful attitude in all interactions.
- Ensure consistent and timely follow-up on customer and member inquiries.
- Maintain confidentiality of all Chamber, member, and program information.
Administrative & Financial Support
- Assist with meeting room rental inquiries, scheduling, and coordination.
- Support Chamber tenants with general inquiries and building-related assistance.
- Process Certificates of Origin and related documentation.
- Process cheques and complete weekly invoicing.
- Manage accounts receivable activities, including payment follow-up and soft collections.
- Assist with the preparation of weekly operational reports and other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in customer service,
- Accounting or bookkeeping experience related to receivables an asset.

Hours: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
