Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee all financial activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency with various accounting software, and the ability to analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making. The Financial Controller will play a key role in safeguarding company assets and optimizing financial performance.
Duties
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct account reconciliations and perform detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms to maintain accurate financial records.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion of financial reports.
- Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in budgeting processes by analyzing financial trends and preparing forecasts.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support business growth initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable/receivable management, payroll processing, and account reconciliation.
- Demonstrated ability in account analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with various accounting systems and software solutions is highly desirable.

Pay: $110,000.00-$180,000.00 per year
