Compensation & Schedule
- Starting wage: $48.00/hour
- Opportunity for wage increases based on performance and experience
- Overtime paid after 8 hours per day
- Minimum 10-hour workdays
- Minimum 5 days per week
- Consistent, year-round work
- Strong earning potential through regular overtime
Responsibilities
- Install electrical equipment, devices, and wiring systems in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and all applicable safety regulations.
- Maintain strong communication with management, project supervisors, and fellow team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and professionally.
- Lead crews on job sites while promoting a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
- Mentor, train, and support apprentices in developing their electrical knowledge and practical skills.
- Coordinate daily tasks and manpower requirements to keep projects on schedule.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently in the field.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and customer expectations.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure and complete projects within tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician Certification
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Proven ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours on out-of-town projects
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
