Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced finish grade Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to support construction projects.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, loaders & skid steers
- Conduct routine inspections and perform basic mechanical troubleshooting to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Follow safety protocols diligently and maintain a clean and organized work area
Expectations & Qualifications
- Proven experience finish grade operating
- Available to work anywhere from 40 - 60 hours per week
- Have the ability to work alone or in a team
- Must have a valid Class 5 & Class 8 licence. Class 3 licence would be considered an asset
- Safety certificates such as Powerline Hazards, WHMIS, etc. considered an asset
- Must be responsible, punctual and dependable
- Have a positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
