Job Overview
We are manufacturing electronic, electrical and electromechanical euipment for industrial uses and the oil and gas industry. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will lead a team of production staff, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and optimize production efficiency. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team to meet output goals and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among staff.
- Create monthly reports required by our customers
- Create Sales Orders and jobs using our fully integrtated MRP system
- Schedule jobs and assign jobs to employees
- Check production quality/engineering issues
- Check job analysis for performance (On time delivery)
- Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency.Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to enhance team performance.
- Communicate with cuistomers to resolve issues and update deliverty schedules.
- Maintain accurate production records, report on key performance indicators, and assist in troubleshooting operational issues.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule equipment repairs and prevent downtime.
- Assist with calibrations, assembly and troubleshootoing as required.
- Engineering change management/Document Control
- Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring a disciplined work environment.
- Other tasks as required to assist the Production Manager
Skills
- Proven experience in manufacturing or production supervision, with strong leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and coordinate across departments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze processes and implement improvements.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and quality assurance standards.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using MRP software and MS Office applications is preferred.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to motivate team members and foster a collaborative work environment.
- An Electronics or Electrical Technology Diploma or Technician certificate is a priority for this position.
Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
