Job Summary
We are seeking 3 detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, optimizing supply chain operations, and ensuring efficient demand planning. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP ERP systems and a strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies. This position plays a critical role in enhancing our supply chain efficiency and supporting our overall business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement process for materials and supplies to meet production demands.
- Utilize SAP ERP systems to track inventory levels, orders, and deliveries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and optimize inventory management.
- Analyze supply chain data using tools such as Power BI to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain processes.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Support MRP (Material Requirements Planning) activities to align production schedules with inventory availability.
Skills
- Proficiency in SAP ERP systems for procurement and supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of demand planning principles and practices.
- Experience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Ability to analyze data using Power BI or similar analytical tools.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes including sourcing, logistics, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on efficiency and quality.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
