We are looking for a Heavy-Duty Parts person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck, trailer, agricultural, and/or industrial parts and take pride in providing fast, accurate service to our technicians and customers.
General Responsibilities
- Identify, source, and order heavy-duty parts and components
- Help customers and technicians with parts identification
- Receive, organize, and stock incoming parts
- Maintain inventory and parts records
- Use electronic parts catalogs and supplier systems to look up parts
- Get quotes and compare pricing and availability
- Handle parts sales, returns, cores, warranties, and related paperwork
- Keep parts area organized, clean, and safe
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
Qualifications
- Good knowledge of truck, trailer, agricultural, or industrial parts
- Ability to accurately identify parts using catalogs, diagrams, and equipment information
- Comfortable working with computers and inventory systems
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Organized, dependable, and able to work effectively in a busy environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
- Journeyperson Parts Technician certification is an asset
