Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IME Medical Assessments Coordinator to join our team. This role is vital in managing medical assessment scheduling, coordinating with healthcare providers, and ensuring smooth operations within our medical assessment services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and knowledge of the Medical Legal and Insurance IME industry. They will ideally have 1-2 years experience in booking coordination, reports coordination and medical documents coordination, with proficiency in electronic medical records and office management systems. This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting dedicated to accurate and efficient medical assessments, supporting both healthcare providers and patients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule independent medical examinations (IMEs) and assessments with healthcare providers.
- Manage appointment calendars, ensuring timely and accurate scheduling of assessments.
- Maintain detailed records of assessments using electronic medical records systems such as Epic and Dentrix.
- Communicate effectively with medical professionals, patients, and internal staff via multi-line phone systems and other communication channels.
- Prepare and review documentation related to assessments, ensuring compliance with privacy and confidentiality standards.
- Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and correspondence related to assessment processes.
- Support the front desk operations as needed, providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
- Collaborate with team members to improve workflow efficiency and ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a dental or medical office environment is highly preferred, especially in roles such as dental receptionist or administrative assistant.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as Epic or Dentrix is essential.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to assessments and evaluations.
- Demonstrated office experience including handling multi-line phone systems, front desk duties, and administrative tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules and documentation.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication within a team setting.
- Experience working with medical or dental offices, particularly in coordinating assessments or evaluations, is required.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
