Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Cabinet Spray Finisher to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to cabinetry using spray equipment, ensuring a smooth, durable, and aesthetically pleasing surface. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with various tools and machinery. The Senior Cabinet Spray Finisher will play a key role in maintaining production standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within our facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate spray finishing equipment to apply coatings to cabinet surfaces with precision and consistency
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning prior to finishing processes
- Monitor and adjust spray equipment settings to achieve desired finish quality
- Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following proper safety protocols and procedures
- Assist with assembly, machining, or other manufacturing tasks as needed
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, cranes, and forklifts safely and effectively during production activities
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying areas for process improvement and waste reduction
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in spray finishing or related manufacturing roles, preferably in cabinetry or wood products
- Mechanical knowledge of spray equipment, hand tools, power tools, welding, cranes, and forklifts
- Ability to read basic math measurements and interpret technical instructions or specifications
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and assembly processes
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude toward safety and continuous improvement
- Prior experience with machining or mechanical assembly is a plus but not required
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
