Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Rust Technician to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in dealership environments or automotive repair shops, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and proficiency with hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Remove rust from vehicle body panels and rocker panels.
- Cut out and replace rusted metal sections.
- Perform welding, grinding, sanding, and body preparation work.
- Apply rust prevention treatments and protective coatings.
- Ensure repairs meet quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in automotive body repair, rust repair, or metal fabrication.
- Ability to weld and work with sheet metal.
- Familiarity with body shop tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license
This position requires applicants to be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and dedicated to maintaining high standards in vehicle restoration. Candidates should be prepared for hands-on work involving various tools and materials necessary for effective rust repair.
Pay: $20.00-$23.50 per hour

- Hamilton, ON L8E 2W8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
