Mike Vail Trucking is looking for a dependable, hardworking General Labourer to help keep our fleet and facilities in top condition. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, is self-motivated, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Wash and clean trucks, trailers, and company equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized wash bay and yard
- Perform general building maintenance, including:
- Basic repairs and upkeep
- Cleaning and housekeeping
- Painting and touch-ups as needed
- Grounds maintenance and seasonal property care
- Assist with shop organization and other general labour tasks
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in general labour, building maintenance, or equipment washing is an asset, but not required
- Valid driver's license is considered an asset
