The Strategic Initiatives Leader serves as a high-impact executive resource across Lorval Capital Management and its portfolio of businesses. This individual is responsible for leading high-priority initiatives, solving complex business challenges, driving strategic execution, and accelerating growth opportunities wherever they exist.
Unlike a traditional functional leadership role, this position moves across multiple businesses and disciplines—including manufacturing, sales, program development, real estate development, financial analysis, acquisitions, and special projects—to ensure the organization's highest priorities are executed successfully.
The role requires exceptional business judgment, adaptability, analytical capability, leadership, and execution. Success comes from identifying opportunities, removing barriers, influencing stakeholders, and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic initiatives identified by the CEO and Chief Strategy & Integration Officer.
- Translate strategy into executable plans with measurable outcomes.
- Drive cross-functional projects from concept through implementation.
- Ensure initiatives remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with organizational priorities.
- Identify operational improvements and efficiency opportunities.
- Develop business cases for investments and process improvements.
- Evaluate new business opportunities.
- Support acquisitions, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.
- Assist with due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
- Build project plans with defined milestones and accountability.
- Manage project risks and proactively resolve issues.
- Report progress regularly to executive leadership.
- Build financial models and business cases.
- Analyze investment returns.
- Support strategic planning.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making, measure progress, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Conduct research on emerging industries and opportunities.
- Represent executive leadership in meetings and negotiations when appropriate.
Qualifications
- More than eight years of progressive business leadership experience.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Experience in multiple industries is preferred.
- Experience within entrepreneurial or privately-owned businesses is highly desirable.
