Cross & Company, Chartered Professional Accountants, is seeking a professional accountant with experience in public practice who is looking for a challenging work environment with opportunity for advancement.

Requirements:
- CPA designation
- 2+ years of recent public practice experience as a designated accountant
- Experience using Caseware, Sage 50, and QuickBooks. Experience with Jazzit, TaxPrep and CCH iFirm is an asset.
- Experience with all assurance and tax engagements. Experience with technical tax matters is an asset.
- Experience with sales and excise taxes
- Experience with personal and corporate tax planning and business consulting
Duties would include but not be limited to the following:
- Corporate, personal, and trust tax returns and all related planning
- Client management and correspondence
- Preparation of assurance and non-assurance engagements
- Government audits and reviews
- Business consulting
- Guidance and training to junior accountants
- Partnership Aspirations
