Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Barista/Server/Bartender. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, alcoholic beverages, and food items with attention to quality and presentation
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS and process transactions efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and accommodating special requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station, dining area, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling duties with accuracy
- Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks as needed to ensure timely service
- Manage multiple tables or orders simultaneously while maintaining professionalism and efficiency
- Follow all food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures at all times
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista, server, bartender, or in the food industry is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed; prior bartending or serving experience is a plus
- A positive attitude with strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
